And yet another . . .

The last readathon was a total flop for me.  I think I read 1 hour total all day.  The weather was so nice, I ended up spending most of the day outside doing yard work.  Then Don and I went out to dinner - just the two of us.

My friend Erin told me about this new one that is a week long.  This I should be able to do!

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Another readathon

My good friend Erin told me about another readathon that is taking place today.  Going to give it a try, although I feel the beautiful spring day will distract me.

My first post on my new blog.  Thanks to my good friend Erin - I'm going to try and start blogging.  And I'm starting with a read-a-thon on Superbowl Sunday.  So fun!  I've never tried one before, but it sounds like something I will enjoy.  Erin and I will be working as a team so she can help me navigate through this crazy world of read-a-thons and blogging!
